CUSTOMER CARE

We are looking for a full-time Customer Care position to join our team. This role is responsible for assuring that all customer inquiries are effectively answered, purchase orders entered, and issues resolved for non-project related sales. The Customer Care position interacts with customers in a timely and helpful manner and provides excellent customer service in order to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively respond to incoming customer calls and emails regarding pricing, order entry, order status, returned goods and any other inquiries.
• Deliver prompt, cost-effective stock quotes as requested and answer all stock inventory questions.
• Assure timely, accurate order entry of purchase orders including correct commission rates.
• Successfully facilitate purchase order issues.
• Follow up on all customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with factories and the distributor community.
• Develop and nurture teamwork with peers to create a positive, collaborative, energized work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• High school education preferred.
• At least 2 years of direct customer contact, customer service and/or related experience.
• Experience in the lighting field a plus.
• Applied experience with computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Proven ability to use logical, analytical thinking in problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to “think outside of the box” and take initiative.
• Finely developed written and verbal communication skills.
